If your up & running I'd let it go as is & put your energy elsewhere . The MP drainback could be an issue if racing but not significantly in your app. The tray/extra gasket changes pickup clearance so might see what you have just for reference if you do go back in there.


Thanks Robert & I just pulled the pan off. Thought I may have applied way too much gasket maker & sure enough, it would've peeled off into the oil. The gray takes quite a while to harden, so may just use The Right Stuff. Drilled 6 3/8"holes in the windage tray for drain back so may as well install it. I could use the rubber gaskets with sealant or adhesive, but there's some small imperfections & scratches in the pan flange, so think gasket maker is the way to go. Messy, but hope it works.
