I can't believe the guys on here recommending to a young guy getting his feet wet in drag racing for him to reuse those bearings. NOW I see why so many of our members have their engines built "or should have" by other shops. A rebuilt engine would not leave my shop with those bearings. They would be placed were they should be, IN THE TRASH. Carry on EXPERt engine builders.

If you do reuse them start out by sanding them with 40 grit sand paper. That way they will HOLD some oil.
