Ive noticed that my stuff runs warmer on the hwy than in town, or even at idle.

It doesnt run alot warmer, 10 degrees at most. At idle and in town it will run 170ish, hwy it goes a hair over 180.

I have dual fans from a concorde/intrepid. Not ideal, planning on a mercedes fan in the near future. If I turn off the fans on the hwy, the motor heats up more.

My cooling system:
Dual electric fans
Griffin 2 row rad
Milodon HV pump
I also have the accesories turning as fast as possible, to get the most amps at idle for fans.

I wonder if the water is pushing through the rad too fast???

AFR at cruise is pretty fat, 11.5. Dont think that would cause a heating issue?

Any ideas?
