There is an "insulater" that will go between the sheet metal and the speaker body. You can run studs or just bolt them up. You will have to enlarge the holes in the cars sheet metal that the bolts go through. I ended up using a package tray that has the stock grates. Some, and me included way back when, cut holes in the tray and had the aftermarket speaker covers to use.
