I might go that route if I can't do what I want and not have to spend 250$+ for two sets of decent speakers....

I don't mind doing a bottom mount but then won't I have to run spacers and have them sticking way down into the trunk to get them to clear the recessed speaker opening?

If you guys know of a set I can botom mount with NO spacers needed, then I may consider that route as it would be much cheaper and easier.
