I think he will be OK. If i remember correctly the later mirrors are fixed housings and the glass moves inside them. If not well, he will have to adust them for street driving lol.
Look at the mirrors they are the early ones in the pic. I like the super glue idea. My dad has the later ones in his 72" duster.
Not knocking the car it is very nice. Just thought I would note the problem before he finds out during dragweek.
