I know of a NMRA SSO team that did testing for Toyo. Saw roll out differences like you mentioned. Also had other issues. Toyo was there to gather data and try to make a slick work like or better than the M/T 3055s. They went back to M/T after the test period.

That being said, all slicks are subject to rollout differences.
