I ask because the scoop will extend to the windshield over the cowl and the motor is in the stock location. Plus I could do most of the maintenance I need to do without removing the scoop. My thought is that I would position and trim the scoop and then make a new flange that the hood would rest and dzus to. This way I can get the desired "look" of the scoop and still have something that isnt going anywhere.
My scoop is mounted seperate from the hood. The back of the scoop is over the cowl to the base of the windshield.
