RJS OP master Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 6,224 JERSEY	Since I put TTI's on my engine I went with a Mini starter. The mini starter causes you to spin the cable around to attach it, this in-turn makes the cable's effective length shorter. What cable could I use to get that length back so I can secure the Battery cable to fenderwell and not have to go over the steering shaft as pictured??? 1972 Satellite with 400. John knows me well, I wouldn't move my relay and I hate to use a generic cable. The small block one suggested may work will have to do some measuring. Any other thoughts? Ron

ahy master A Joined: Jan 2007 Posts: 7,664 IN	Pretty straightforward to make what you need. NAPA carries the heavy cable, ends and shrink wrap. Measure, crimp, solder and shrink wrap makes a durable and neat looking cable.

GY3 master G Joined: Dec 2013 Posts: 4,683 Wichita	On my '63 B, I ran the cable to the front of the engine and down and behind the motor mount and header. Much cleaner if you haeve the room. Not necessarily a stock look but the dipstick and motor mount aid in keeping it up against the block and away from the header. '63 Dodge 330 11.19 @ 121 mph Pump gas, n/a, through the mufflers on street tires with 3.54's. 3,600 lbs. 10.01 @ 133mph with a 250 shot of nitrous an a splash of race gas. 1.36 60 ft. 3,700 lbs.
