You need to mention when you order that you want them the same OD, as in "matched set". With a spool, it matters to me.
I did just that when I ordered my new slicks from Summit last week. Both tires have exactly the same indicated rollout.
I learned the hard way after they sent a mismatched set the first time I bought from them.

I have a word of caution, the numbers chalked on the tires for rollout are not to be trusted. You must mount the tires put race ready air pressure in and measure the rollout with preferably a cloth tape measure to assure accuracy. Only then can you be sure of the rollout measurement. My experience is the number on the tire when you get it means next to nothing, I believe the distributors just put the same numbers on sets to sell in and effort to eliminate some customers from bitching about rollout differences (which does happen). I run Pheonix exclusively so I like the tire, it works the best, but you gotta check their rollout.

I bougt a used new set from a member on here last year, tey had not been mounted and where marked the same size on both tires. I had them mounted and then check the circumference at 12 lbs, not within 3/4 inch I inflated the small one for several days to 15 lbs at first and then to 20 lbs and finally to 30 lbs to get them within 1/8 inch of each other. I let the little one down to 12 lbs again and it was still out close to 1/2 inch smaller so I ended up running it at 13 lbs. amd 10 lbs in the big one to get them to 1/8 inch of each other

It is not that uncommon to have tires that are different rollout. The deal is fix it before ever running the tire. 30psi in the sun. Stretch a little at a time checking the tires at equal pressure. Once it is right. Mount the tires on the car and do a burnout to heat cycle the tires. I would not suggest ever running a set of tires with unequeal rollout, but have always had good success stretching the short tire.

Thats why I dont buy slicks from them anymore... I buy from Harlow tire
Harlow is #1 and I have recieved good service from Coker Tire also (dragtraceires.com)
They went to the shelfs and selected the rollout I wanted, and of course a matched set.
As mentioned, check it yourself, and I have made 1/2" corrections (air pressure stretch) to "fine" match them. And that has to be done before doing the first burnout.
