The shift rods are the same, the pistol grip is different.

I believe everything is the same console to non console pistol grip shifters,except the shifter handle itself. The console shifter handle has about a 4 inch bend to divert the handle through the center of the console,and then it's bent back towards the driver. The non console shifter handle has a half inch offset at the bottom of the handle,and is straight the rest of it's length. The shifter box is set up to shorten the shifter throw,to compensate the long shifter handle.
