I ran a voodoo with 533 and worked great changed it to a voodoo with like 550 and it wouldnt rev past 6200 rpm. Could have been the springs but I assumed I had some interference with the stock 906 heads.

I've ran a .560 lift with stock rockers and it was together for many years. But then the heads were 915's

Sorry, but I was not in my garage, when wrote that question and my garage is over 35 miles from my office, and I needed a honest answer because from Hughes Engines they said maximum lift with stock guide height is 0.450". More lift would require shortening the valve guides. I thought it's a little bit low, because I have even earlier used cams up to 0.507 without shortening guides.

Stock on top 346 heads, 0.518 lift with room to spare.
