After reading a post about exhaust restriction, I got to thinking about my problem. No matter what I've tried(and I've tried everything ) my fresh 360 in my 64 Valiant keeps fouling plugs and runs like crap.Runs so bad i cant get any adjustments to make a difference. I have spitfire headers but the exhaust shop kinda screwed up my 2 1/4"pipes . It's pretty tight up by the engine area and they may have put a few to tight restictions and it's not mandrel bent. Does anyone have any "real life " experience with exhaust restriction? What would the symptoms be? Thanks, Dave.............

To test for exhaust restriction 1. Connect vacuum gauge to manifold vacuum and tach to the engine. 2. Gradually accelerate engine from idle to 2000 RPM 3. Note vacuum reading. 4. Maintain 2000 RPM for 10 seconds or longer while observing vacuum gauge.
If exhaust system is restricted, vacuum reading will gradually decrease.
you shure about that one...i use a manometer

This is the direction I would head in. You may have a weak spark. Try a different coil. Bypass your ballast resistors to see if that changes things. i had this happen to me along time ago and after changing almost all the parts my dad comes over and says did you check the coil? Uh, no dad. Stuck an old used coil on and it ran great.
