You may have issues fitting the tti step headers as they are for a raised exhaust port head?
They are custom low deck headers, modified by TTI to work on a 440 with standard exhaust port location. Fit fine on stock heads, but are meant to work with heads with angled plugs. They don't play nice with straight plugs.

I am looking at Indy EZ heads. Motor is a 440/505 stroker, TTI 2-1/8 step headers, Comp XE295HL Hydraulic, 251/257 duration, 564/564 lift cam. I want to stick with my current cam for now. So I'm wondering which EZ's to go with, standard port or max-wedge port?
I kindof use both. i bought the bottom of the line EZs from Porter who touched up the guides, angles and a backcut on the valves. i ported the heads out to MW but i use a standard port intake that has been welded up at the flange to make it fit MW. i ported the intake alot to make the runners as large as possible though

EZs use all standard Mopar parts. The port will depend on how much power and at what RPM.
I'm looking for about 750 hp eventually. I don't think I'm gonna get there with this cam. Trying to figure out which will work best with my current cam?

Max wedge ports ,more compression and big cam. You can always start with the standard port then upgrade later.

If you stay with EZ heads, it would be best to start out with the EZ-1 kit. The EZ-1 heads have the Max Wedge ports to start with and are only a couple hundred dollars more. I'm sure it would cost at least that to open a set of standard EZ heads up to MW port size anyway. Exhaust ports are still the same, so no special headers are required with the EZ-1.

Matt has done a lot of EZ builds.

"I'm looking for about 750 hp eventually" You may be better off to go with the "traditional" -1's. I ran them with a 498, 12:1 compression, .640, 259 @ .050 solid roller. I never did dyno it but it did run 9.87 @ 137 in a 3500 lb street car set up for nitrous (4.30 gear/30" tire, tight 4000 converter, footbrake). Based on that, I am guessing I made 720ish hp.

With EZ-1's and a nice Indy SP intake - you'll be around 650 HP / 650 lb-ft.
While Std. Port Heads would be fine (especially with that cam) with a future goal of 750 HP will be extremely tough w/o a MW head.
My stroker w/ same cam made #'s in my sig...nice hydraulic cam for us lazy guys that don't feel like lashing valves

I have the standard base EZ's with just some bowl work and std.RB ports and it runs great I am only running a small flat solid cam,Comp 588 XTQ series and it seems perfect with the smaller ports. There is plenty of potential in the base EZ's with a stock size port Gus

If your after 750hp, go ahead and CNC port the heads now. Im going to say a cam swap will be in order later too. Best to have the heads done right now, than pull the heads later, box them up and ship them out and wait 2 months. But realistically your current engine will run fine with the OOTB and nicely prep'd EZ heads. They are much better OOTB than the traditional -1's
