What kind of "stick" are you putting in it? What's the setup?

I have an 18 spline A-833, Competition Plus shifter, Lakewood scatter shield and a McLeod clutch set-up and in the rear I have a 4:10 Dana with SS springs and I just got some Cal-track bars and the Rancho 9000 shocks that I still need to install.

Good luck with it!!!
I know my big problem is getting mine to leave the line with the six pack.

sounds like a mid 10 sec. car! I'm surpirsed it likes to wind that high, too. Maybe the heads are resposible...he must really have them SRs flowing!

that's one cold(very cool) six pack!

As far as the heads go I believe he had the intakes flowing 329 cfm and the exhaust I believe was 234CFM. To aid in cam selection he flowed a couple of the ports with the intake manifold attached (after the Hughes stage II porting) and the flow varied from 276 cfm to 285 cfm.

I still don't have the build sheet but I'll be honest I'm not going to be able to give out the exact cam specs becuase Nick wants to keep that close to the vest (I'm not even going to get a copy of the cam card) but it is in the range of 650 lift and 274 duration.

Those are impressive numbers.
I am surprised the torque peak was below 4100 rpm while still making peak hp at 6700-6900 rpm. That is a wide power band. Also surprising the torque at 4900 was so different between with (633 lb-ft) and without (619 lb-ft) the air cleaner.

It would be worth knowing what headers were used on the dyno compared to in your car. That can make a noticable difference. Primary size and length.

You should be very happy with the results so far. I look forward to hearing the track results.

Thanks Jim!

In my car I have a set of TTI's step headers 2" to 2 1/8" and 3 1/2" collectors and a TTI 3" exhaust and on the dyno I'm not exactly sure but Nick said they weren't a step header but were similar sized anyway.

I probably won't make it to the track until Fall because I'm shooting to just be on the road by 4th of July weekend and by the time I finally get everything sorted out it'll be September.

Nice numbers! If you can get it to hook it will be a fun ride for sure. Can you say wheelstand??

I would imagine the Hughes porting on the intake helped it breathe to 7000rpm.I doubt a stock intake would have liked that.

My stock unported low deck Eddy 6 pak intake on my 518 stroker 400 motor made peak HP at 5500 to 5700 RPM, peak torque at 4500 RPM, the car runs faster shifting it at 7000 RPM or above My 464 C.i. 440 block six pak motor likes to be shifted above 6000 RPM also, it has a stock unported Eddy six pak intake

Thanks for all the positive comments guys!

I can't wait to see what it does either, I'll post an update when I do get out to the track.
