Are they magnum or LA heads? Will they work with dome top pistons? I am impressed with the results you got.

I am going to let you say it is a 10 second car. That happens to be EXACTLY what the Valiant runs at Irwindale. And , guess what...........

Thank you guys very much! It means alot that you can see what we did on a somewhat tight budget considering the peformance of the engine. Before we ever had a dyno, we built plenty of powerful street and track engines. How an engine runs down the track is MUCH more important than any DYNO #!!
This engine will be for sale soon too, if anyone is interested just PM me.
The heads are LA X heads, hughes shaft rockers. I did upgrade the pushrods to .058 wall 3/8 hollow rods over the hughes supplied 5/16 solid for a tech article about pushrod oiling. I used AMC hyd. lifters and took that time to reinstall the dual plane intake for the drag strip runs.
I'll be running it again on the dyno for a few tests soon and I'll post that info then.
I'm working on uploading and resizing pics and movies so it's going to be late before I get them on here but they are good pics and movies...thanks to Rob, Mark and Phil for the help and laughs!!
Like I said before, I'm not lighting the world on fire or anything but we now have good proof that our RHS heads can make very good power at a reasonable price. I'd say that's pretty good for the ole sb mopar!!
I think the vacume at idle was around 7" at 1000rpm, but I set the idle in the car at 1200 and it liked that much better so at that rpm I'd say maybe 8.5"...

I might add that that cam (XE295HL) had excellent street manners in my 340. It would idle @900rpm all day long. A 10 sec street engine.....schweeet
Yeah, it's got a smallblock.
