Im guessing not, but is it possible to run non adjustable shaft mounted rocker arms on an engine with a solid cam?

Only if you use adjustable pushrods (which are rare nowadays).

and you think the non adjustable rockers will hold up to the spring pressure for a solid cam with the adjustable push rods???

Depends on the cam....something super mild would....but I agree it's not a great idea.

I ran stock rockers with a crane hyd with .528 intake lift/.552 exhaust lift (242/252 @ .050 duration) with Edelbrock heads and their stock springs for 3 years with no problems. Any more spring pressure than that....and you will start poking pushrods through the rockers. Just my

I would think the stock rockers would need pressure on them to keep oiling under control .I can imagine the noise they would make.

it's ok to butt heads, just don't do it with a butthead

Sure, that is how the NASCAR guys do it these days to save weight. Costs a lot of money though because they have to buy pushrods in 0.005 increments.

If you are running much spring pressure be sure
to use the thick rockers.

Still cheaper than cast rockers. Just don't go nuts with spring pressures. Anyone run these on the street these days?

Back when the 392 Hemi was King of the fuelers most guys ran the adjustable pushrods with stock rockers which were cast.Spring open pressures were only about 350lbs then.Max lifts were only about.550 Less than that they could work but that should be the high limit.
