No offence to Jr, but I cant wait till Sr. with the 4 speed car puts a woopin' to the kid this year. I hope it's at Indy for all to see,.... JR, I'm sure Sr will congrat the motor builder when he's collecting the check...LOL....and I'll bet the motor builder WON'T be too disappointed when it happens either.

Thanks Jim!! We're really proud of that car, and of all the hard work Jim puts in on it. I sure hope he's got a number like that in her, as long as he had that record it seems weird that someone else has it, but Charlie sure deserves it, Jim just deserves it a little bit more!! HAHAHA BTW, brown nosing me won't get your stuff done any quicker....

I have no clue what anyone ran. Neither Dad or I are there. Hard to tell what tuning magic Ogburn and crew are capable of.

The track was very cold for most of the day,and cruddy track prep. The "64" that was mentioned before is good for #1. I believe Ogburn went 9.00, and I saw Jenkins slam the car down, and hit the pan pretty hard, causing a leak. My car went 8.72 @ 153.88 on a true 10.5 slick.(I think my car traveled a 1/2 half mile on that pass)

Good luck to everyone tomorrow!

john rains took the win over mark viera in the final.

65 to an 82.
3rd #1 qualifier for rains, not bad for a motor with 54 runs on it, and 70 dyno pulls.
good job rainman, also good job to mark viera. he does his own stuff.

ended up being a neat event, i ran them chicago style eliminations where the 2 winners came back for finals. all 5 cars seen 7 runs over the weekend.
Thanks to all five for supporting the event and West Coast Hemi's for sponsoring it.
Rains is the West coast "boss" right now.

just so everyone knows, not one of my engines, or my customers, that by the way have been #1 at both races so far, have anything on them from MCH. Jeff coudnt come cause he had a cold , where was keys?
My backup motor was good enough to go 50 something there, but it didnt. Jeff likes to compare weather station readings, a pet peave of mine. I like to compare real world results. I think the car that "dominated" indy was at vegas. If juggling D.A. readings is how you are going to build your business,we'll see you in the bankruptsy publications. Maybe you can charge admission to tour your power stables.

You certainly can not argue Charlie's veiwpoint....His engines have been dominant!!!Talk is easy, because you swallow every word....Results come from effort and hard work....You may not see the effort and hard work, but you certainly see the results!!!!!As he put it "real world results" If any one out there has a better engine or car that can beat the Warfish, Where is it?.....
The Warfish Team has let the results on the strip do all the talking!!!!!Until someone can go faster or win in the final round against him...The results are not going to change!!!!
