Anyone know what the part number is for a ATI superdampner thats compatable with a Milodon gear drive.... also what is the little hole on the left side of the milodon gear drive unit for? thx

i just bought a ATI Damper(917122E)it was the wrong one.. and if you buy through jegs or summit they dont have the part number listed..i have a Indy timing cover and needed a 1/4" longer hub.. but instaed i had to buy the shim kit to make mine work..call ATI directly and get the right part number.. they offer 22 applications for BB dodge.. http://www.atiracing.com/products/dampers/index.htm 877-298-0539 speak to jim Beaty.. tell him your application..the part # for the correct hub should be 916663 but double check...

Just went through this. I ended up with an ATI hub number 916663 as was mentioned above.

As for the hole, if it's the one I'm thinking of it's for the timing pointer.

At the top of page six in the race parts for sale there is one listed as being for a gear drive.

ATI will sell just the hub if you need it. They sent it right out. I cant find my invoice but the hub was $135. It fit like a glove.

Wedgie, i have one for sale if your interested.35 passes. The 916663 hub with a 2 ring damper (works with a belt drive) with the timing marks the correct way.

If you look on the ATI website you'll see the product listings for a gear drive. There are several different ones that will fit depending on if you want aluminum or steel, two ring or three ring, Chevy bolt pattern, etc.

well I just traded a edelbrock rpm intake for a ATI damner....
