Friend is building a new engine for his 64 Dodge. 485" , Stage 5 heads ported at FHO. 285/2962 112 roller, shooting for compression in the 12-1 range. He has a factory crossram and factory Hemi carbs. Sheet metal intakes arent legal unless you run 9.25 or quicker index. Previously with a smaller cam and Mopar perf heads it ran a best of 9.88. 4.10 gear 3550lbs Doug

Is that an original 1964 to 1968 Mopar single piece SS crossram intake (aluminum or 1965 magnesium) or the later over the counter only two piece crossram intake?
Mr.Cab Racing and winning with Mopars since 1964. (Old F--t, Huh)

Especially for a heavy car.

The cam was speced by Tim at FHO. I haven't seen the specs on paper. Just going on what I was told. My mistake on the current intake. The intake is 2 piece aluminum. I believe it is the Mopar Performance intake. Doug

the barton one makes more power than a unmodified mopar perfomance one. we run a modified mopar which probably makes equal to the barton. we have been 8.76@153 3400 lbs
