If you drive your car to the track like I do (as opposed to trailering it), what do you use for an air supply to pump up your tires before driving home, if the track doesn't have an onsite air compressor?
Believe it or not, I've used a high-volume bicycle tire pump in the past when necessary, (about 10 pumps per 1 psi in a car tire), but am now looking at options like a portable air tank or tire inflators that can plug into the car's 12v lighter socket.

I use a little Milwaukee M-12 air pump and I have the USB charger for it to plug into the car to charge the battery if needed - but never needed to - just by the bigger battery for it - works great

Thx I bring a small air tank & a cig lighter power small pump JUST in case I run out of air in my tank.

I know several guys that use the 12 volt cigarette lighter plug tire inflators.
I've also seen guys use the rechargeable battery powered versions.
Just search "cordless tire inflator with battery and charger" and lots of them come up.
Either one will do the job just fine.
Kayse can't keep up at all now. lol

It has enough oomph to fill up my truck tires after airing down to single digits for offroading too.

I use the Ryobi 18 volt. It uses the same batteries as all my other ryobi stuff. It shuts off automatically when it reaches the pressure that I set it for. So I can turn it on and walk away and do something else. Jeff has the same thing, except it is Dewalt, they both work about the same.

I use the Milwaukee pump as well.
I can start it on a tire and start putting the rest of my gear in the trunk.

Been reading a lot of reviews on the portable inflators. The good ones aren't cheap, and the fact that I have no existing cordless tools with the same types of batteries & chargers makes the "all in" price a bit ridiculous... $300+ for a bleepin' mini air compressor w/ the necessary accessories. Good think I bought a new bicycle tire pump last year

The first one of the factory ones that I used was on my 2007 Chrysler 300 SRT, the one that came in the trunk. About 30 seconds after I plugged it in, it blew the fuse.  I've used the one on my 2010 Challenger SRT and so far it seems to work okay. I've also got an aftermarket one that I've used (a cheap one, I think it was a MotorTrend Promo deal) that works but I'm not sure how long it will last before it craps out.
Kayse can't keep up at all now. lol

Bought this 3 years ago. Bought the extra hefty 5a battery and charger. Around 120 bucks for the whole setup. Use it at the track, and extensively on a car lot I own. Light, dependable, cheap. One of the best gadgets I have ever bought In 3 years bet I haven’t had to recharge the thing 8-10 times total..and I use it. Flats. Good think I bought a new bicycle tire pump last year I bought the DeWalt DCC0201 mainly because I had their impact, drill, etc. and plenty of batteries. It was a screamin' deal at $100 but now I see they are over $140 in most stores. I use it way more than I thought I would as I keep it in the daily driver and someone always has a low tire at work or two wheel dolly needs air. I almost never fire up the big compressor in the shop anymore after getting this!
