Have a poly block in the shop. Very thick cylinder walls. I'd say I can easily cut .070 minimum for a rebore. Is this poly block as strong as the X or R's.(Just looking at the thickness and weight of the block in general). W2 head well flowed. Looking to go 700HP(+/-).

That Poly block isn’t even as strong as a TA block

Did I miss something?

What does a W2 head have to do with a Poly?

Reality check, that half the population is smarter then 50% of the people and it's a constantly contested fact.

It will bolt to a poly block which can usually go .100 over. Add a 4.125 or 4.250 stroker crank and you get a big block displacement in a small block package.

I thought cam lobes have a different cam spacing and are intakes also interchangeable?
That weighs the same as a "B" block?

The block doesn't weigh much more than an LA block, the heads and cast iron timing case cover are part of what made them weigh much more. The lobe spacing and angle are the same as a normal LA, just need an LA cam and pistons..90"over should be safe if the block checks good.

I've seen people use LA blocks in place or Poly blocks, just not the other way around.

So it would be possible to put poly heads on an LA 360?

X and R blocks are hard to come by and pricey. Just looking to see if could be an alternative.
