Front 70 Cuda. Also hiding place for my MSD coil. Lol
My calipers are 70 but the disc are the later bigger bearing hubs.

Front. Part of the reason why the sway bar was redesigned was to make room for the single piston caliper.

Swapping the spindles so the calipers mount behind the spindles moves that weight to the rear which help the cars I've done that on stop and corner better. The skinny front drag tires didn't lock up as easy after moving them it's your choice, show or go?

70-72 KH Single piston was B and E body. So assuming that these are original they would be front mounted, but not sure how they could even be mounted in the rear. Spindles and Calipers were Right/Left specific. I can only state what the FSM shows. Was 69 disc to the rear? Could there be an up to and after build? Parts manual may clear this up.

running up my post count some more .

My 69 Roadrunner had 4 piston disc mounted to front. I changed to the big rotors and single piston.

My 69 Roadrunner had 4 piston disc mounted to front. I changed to the big rotors and single piston. 69 Is to the rear. FSM clearly states the Bendix and KH are mounted to the rear of the steering axis. FSM illustrates it also. Parts manual also shows it. 69 also had a short steel brake line from the hose to the caliper. 70 went to the front and the hose screwed directly into the caliper.

They go towards the rear. The 70 Charger FSM shows them mounted to the rear. I know, that's why I asked the question. I'm leaving them in the front. Thanks for all of your help guys!

Let me throw this out there, where does the hard line come to? Ahead or behind the knuckle?.
My understanding is the hose should cross the steering axis, so hard line at back means caliper to front and vice versa.

My understanding is the hose should cross the steering axis, so hard line at back means caliper to front and vice versa. Front of knuckle has hose screwed into the caliper. Rear of knuckle has a short steel line between the hose and the caliper. I posted differences in the hoses above.
