Also check out Mark Williams site about drive shaft critical speed.

I use a guy about 50 miles from me who does really nice work, checks everything. God only knows what $hipping would be. There are always ads in Natl Dragster for the race stuff, but I don't get ND any more.

Local shop did it for under $100.00 any idea what speed it was balanced at ? a buddy had one done locally from a truck place, and always had a vibration problem with it. i can't remember what rpm it was balanced at, but it was pretty low. the shaft was in a 55 chevy with 4.10's and a 700R4 od, and it vibrated pretty good at certain speeds. we checked runout, and it was right at the limit [in my opinion] at around .018 or so. i tried to get him to have it high speed balanced, but someone wanted the car and threw good money at him before he had a chance to try that.

Easy Transaction. Would recommend. 1970 340 swinger. sublime 1967 barracuda fastback BB 55 Plymouth Project
