Interesting results on the link below, I'm guessing the losses will be more for an 8 cylinder / bigger stroke as well. But it doesn't take into consideration the effects of acceleration and deceleration on the oil in the pan.

Well i ordered a scraper last week. It came today. Even has the extra splash pan i ordered with it.

I make my own crank scrapers and install them between the block and windage trays with .030 to .060 clearances on the passenger side of the blocks up, I have heard from a very good engine builder in SO CA that the crankshaft scrapers they used on BB Chevy were worth no HP or torque improvement below 6000 RPM at WOT dyno testing, they made 30 HP gain at 8600 RPM on the same motor with almost identical weather conditions the next day after installing it work up

Yea, I seen several also.

When I asked about pans for a big block Mopar, all i get was a blank stare, and the old "no, we don't"
