My guess is it rolled the teeth on the fibers... Pull the tail housing, rear bearing and governor housing then pull the whole mess out the front. That way you can persuade them a part easier. twocents

Could also be a galled input shaft bushing holding the output shaft pilot hub.

Try turning the trans face down on a hard floor, lift a couple of feet and drop it to shock the parts loose.

The rear clutch assy will lift about a quarter of an inch out of the sun shell but that's it. It will not go any farther.

I think the piston over traveled, and wedged the last clutch plate to the annulus gear.

Well with some wiggling and pulling on the input shaft i was able to break free the retainers from the the sun shell. There is a thrust washer that sit between the input and output shafts. Under the snap ring it's missing. if i'm not mistaken that thrust washer sits the clearance between the high-speed drum and your planetaries. Is this correct?........Thanks for the help gents

Yes, and when it's missing, the output shaft pilot will bottom out in the input shaft and peen over...trapping it in the input shaft bushing.

Bronze (bottom right) is preferred for performance builds, the fiber (bottom left) are known to fail probably because of excessive input shaft free play. If either fail there should be broken pieces in the pan.
