With all of the alum you have it should stay pretty cool and if its tuned correctly for the 93 it shouldnt be a problem

I'd put a wideband on it and see if that fuel pump was running out of juice well before the traps. You're feeding a lot of carb there.
1970 Plymouth 'Cuda #'s 440-6(block in storage)currently 493" 6 pack, Shaker, 5 speed Passon, 4.10's 1968 Plymouth Barracuda Convertible 408 Magnum EFI with 4 speed automatic overdrive, 3800 stall lock-up converter and 4.30's (closest thing to an automatic 5 speed going)

each to their own, but if that was my engine with that compression & cam, i'd run 103-105 octane. our fuel might have a different rating but even so i'd take a jug of higher rated gas & try it out. you'd have to bump up the timing a bit but if it meant going faster i'd try anything.
I agree. Detonation cannot always be detected until your rod bearings drop out of the saddles. I understand what Mike is saying about the aluminum but with 11.5-1 I would use some amount of race gas-just to be safe.
