I would prefer no lip if it was my car but either way looks good. Let me know when you are done and I will send you mine to do lol.
Do you have a hood latch up front? I have a glasstek race weight hood on my 68 Barracuda. Its pinned down in 6 places, the front center pin is on the core support. I can see the hood bending up in front of the front center pin, like a lot. I have lowered it down where it rests well below the header panel but it still comes up. It bends enough in front of the pin that I can't believe it hasn't broken yet.

I’m adding a cowl scoop. The scoop has a point on the front. Some are saying to remove the point. I guess I could cut it off and tiger hair a blunt nose on it. What do you guys think, cut it off or leave it? What do YOU think when you walk by it? If YOU don't care, why mess with it? However, if there is the slightest dislike for the 'point' remove it now. Every time YOU walk by the car you don't want to be telling yourself 'Boy, I wish I'd removed that.'.

Also, gonna cut the hole tomorrow, do you think a jigsaw with a fine blade works best? I always mask the area & then draw on the profile I need. Fine jigsaw blade will be fine, cut from the good side of the hood.
