Here they are, the BAM solid roller lifter with direct oil steel bushing and pushrod oiled. The gentleman at BAM tells me they will last 3 times as long as the bronze bushing. Very durable.

That’s probably the next lifter I will buy. A bit more money but what a nice piece.

Any idea on the weight? Could they be used with bushed lifter bores and effectively use the oiling hole? They really look nice and i’m looking for lifters for an all out drag eng.....no street use. Thx

I don't know. You'll have to give the gentleman at BAM a call. I hope they work with bushed bores because my next project has them and i want to use the same lifter.

Don't know about the steel bushing. But mine are closing in on 600 passes on bronze bushings.

Must be some sort of alloy ... steel on steel would definitely seize in no time - oil or not. Also, if its steel on steel then what's the benefit over using steel rollers ?!?!

The box in the picture says DLC which is a super hard coating that the NASCAR boys use on stuff. I had a set of race pistons with DLC pins.

Have you ever looked at a wheel bearing? Steel rollers on steel races.

That steel has to be harder than woodpecker lips or it's going to have issues.

How would these be for long term street use?

I think they would be the best you could do for a roller set up.
