I have the same issue. I have the 120 amp Denso alternator. I will be making a bracket for the alternator. Also plan on o-ringing the Meziere pump to block so I don't need to use gaskets. Not sure on the crank pulley yet.

You should be able to come up w/ some spacers to keep the stock alternator and bracket w/ that pump and just use a shorter belt. If not, I'd also suggest the DMI bracket and a small one wire alternator.

Here's a friend setup coming off the fuel block off plate
71 demon stock stroke 440/indy ez-1 running 10.10 @ 132.14 mph in the 1/4 and 6.36 @ 107.46 mph in the 1/8 not in the same weekend but It did it then I sold it. 67 Belvedere that worked it's way in the 10's
