Wow, some people's definition of sleeper and mine are obviously different.

I didn't go after you. I went after a car that's been attacked with a hole saw that has to have pistons replaced after every round.

I agree. And I like Shaker223's and cheapstreetdustr's cars too.

I want to see stock rims and non performance body No RR's, R/T's, GTX's

no shiny paint
no bright colors
Some road rash
weathered engine compartment
no aluminum rims, even dog dishes are that stealthy any more
bench seat
column automatic
no big tires
no hood scoops or performance hoods
4 doors are a plus!
mufflers that keep it as quiet as possible
74 and up smogger cars

Thanks for the nod!

Big block a body....To med a sleeper has to be 'all in', quiet mufflers, unassumeing colors, stealth dual exhaust (my duster had a Dummy 318 single 2" tailpipe while the dual 2 1/2"s dumped out just behind the rear wheels completely hidden from view.

Second choice won't be popular but it is a Mopar...1990-94 Eagle Talon AWD, evo 16G turbo and some tuning tricks will put out 24+psi and will nail a 1.6 60' and run high 11's on street tires.

I used to think 67-69 Post A bodies were sleepers but if anything they are so obviously NOT sleepers.....much like the 327/375 Chevy II's anyone encountering one is once bitten-twice shy.

Still gotta Say Larry's pristine white Dart with the 414" cross ram is the car I wish I had as a Stablemate to my big blue Dodge.

Hi JD. I don't know what it runs, sorry. It's not real good in the traction department, just fun. The grandkids call it the grandpa car. It's fun taking it to the local car shows cause it is relatively stock looking even under the hood and yet can be a hand-full when playing.

Don't laugh, this is a real sleeper, it's got the right stuff underneath to go, whoa and turn a hot lap. It does nice burnouts too!

That guy (BOYD) had the sleeper thing going for a while. I lost to him off of Whittier blvd after he beat my buddies V8 350 vega. I knew I was alot faster than the Vega so it should be an easy win. Boyd smoked me. He always lifted the hood for you to look painted engine dual plane single snorkel stock air filter
A few weeks after I lost to him I saw him at OCIR pulling a low ten with the same car.
