How far does it roll?
Does it ratchet or is it quiet then it just locks without noise. It just rolls about a foot then engages. I had it rolling and tried to put it in park to stop it rolling and it was ratcheting and wouldnt stop.

"I had it rolling and tried to put it in park to stop it rolling and it was ratcheting and wouldnt stop. "
That is perfectly normal.
And something you shouldn't be doing.

And something you shouldn't be doing. Exactly, park isn't designed to stop a moving vehicle, it's there to lock a STOPPED vehicle in place.
I love the smell of Deer guts in the morning, it smells like... VICTORY!
