For polling purposes, how many of you who are serious about the look of DAY TWO, NOSTALGIA, RACE and or STREET on your cars would like to see this brand of tire come back on the market? I have the ear of the engineers over at Coker Tire and they would need a certain amount of serious interest in order to make a run. This process could take a few months or even a few years, but the faster we get on board with them, the faster these could come to market. Aside from the raised white letter tires from Dunlop, Goodyear Ploy-glas and Firestone Wide Oval tires, I think the Super Stock/ Formula 1 tires were one of the best looking performance tires on the market. Remember also that they made thin front runner tires such as the ones below.
Let an ear hear, what say ye?

I would use them for a show car where you need that look.
I don't actually have a show car, though....

Those were definitely 70"s tires had them on a few cars. But I grew up in 60's when Inglewood POSITRACTIONS where the go to tire.

I had them on the front and back of my Duster for around 5 years while street racing may Duster. No longer into that and I’m not a car show guy but if I did still street race it would be with newer technology

Wow pittsburgracer. Those are some very cool flicks of your Duster wearing those front sneakers. It would serve them right if they reproduced them with a stickier compound while addressing the original font and size of the call out letters. This is good fellas, keep bringing it whether negative or positive-traction.

This is good fellas, keep bringing it wether negative or positive-traction. We used to have to make about an 80 mile round trip to get these tires from the only guy that would order them for us. Slipping my mind right now but I ran something like an N50 on the rear. It fit the stock wheelhousing but had some sticking out.

Back in the day (mid-late 70s - early 80s) seems like the guys around here would use L60 or N50 Road Huggers and Volkswagon tires, that you could get for about $15 or $20, on the front, neither of which were worth a damn.
If the results don't match the theory, change the theory.

Remember we didn’t have as many wheel offset options in the 1970’s
