For polling purposes, how many of you who are serious about the look of DAY TWO, NOSTALGIA, RACE and or STREET on your cars would like to see this brand of tire come back on the market?
I have the ear of the engineers over at Coker Tire and they would need a certain amount of serious interest in order to make a run. This process could take a few months or even a few years, but the faster we get on board with them, the faster these could come to market. Aside from the raised white letter tires from Dunlop, Goodyear Ploy-glas and Firestone Wide Oval tires, I think the Super Stock/ Formula 1 tires were one of the best looking performance tires on the market. Remember also that they made thin front runner tires such as the ones below.

Let an ear hear, what say ye?

i ran those on my charger back in the day ! actually, they were a pretty decent all around tire. good ride, handled the turns pretty good, and with a good burnout, pretty reasonable traction. any ideas if larger sizes will be available this go round vs the original sizes ? if so, i for one, would be up for a set. boogie

I had those on my sb 4 speed monza back in the mid 80's. I thought they were an awesome tire. Hooked pretty good on the street.

Interest = 0

My car takes advantage of modern radial tire technology, mostly from DOT drag radials. I have no Day 2 aspirations for tires I'd need to swap for the track.

I would use them for a show car where you need that look.

I don't actually have a show car, though....

The more choices out there, the better.

I would suspect that they would want to make a run of some popular size rear tires ie: F-60, G-60, L-60. I don't know, but their green light towards the run would hinge on at least a 100 orders to make it viable. I myself would spring for 8 tires, two of which would be front runner types 6.40 X 15 for the black car and the rest for the daily driver.

I'm just reaching out to a possible market out there that doesn't necessarily care too much for traction and or comfort. I remember being laughed at way back when I ran McCreary's out back until they starting getting their @$$ cooked.
I myself know that when I turn the key in any of my old jalopies, the rattle shake and roll is part of the fun.

Those were definitely 70"s tires had them on a few cars. But I grew up in 60's when Inglewood POSITRACTIONS where the go to tire.

I think it would be cool to have a set, but I like Day 2 cars.

I had them on the front and back of my Duster for around 5 years while street racing may Duster. No longer into that and I’m not a car show guy but if I did still street race it would be with newer technology

Wow pittsburgracer. Those are some very cool flicks of your Duster wearing those front sneakers.
It would serve them right if they reproduced them with a stickier compound while addressing the original font and size of the call out letters.
This is good fellas, keep bringing it whether negative or positive-traction.

I like the Oldsmobile tow vehicle. I flat towed with a '72/383/2 Fury III. Never could get a girlfriend to spend a day at the track. I only have interest in the M&H Racemasters and they are available

We used to have to make about an 80 mile round trip to get these tires from the only guy that would order them for us. Slipping my mind right now but I ran something like an N50 on the rear. It fit the stock wheelhousing but had some sticking out.

Back in the day (mid-late 70s - early 80s) seems like the guys around here would use L60 or N50 Road Huggers and Volkswagon tires, that you could get for about $15 or $20, on the front, neither of which were worth a damn.

If the results don't match the theory, change the theory.

I ran VW tires as well with out knowing that they weren't rated for the speed that I was achieving then.
Front runners should be rated to have at least 125 MPH in their DNA.

Not much squatting being done with this car but my 28-10-15 slicks were tight. Remember we didn’t have as many wheel offset options in the 1970’s
