Pretty sure they are two names for the same thing.
RA has them, price isn't too bad unless you have the automatic temperature control setup, then it's pricey.

Yes, the fuse will shut down the blower motor, but that doesn't fix the problem. yes I know, just so you could shut it off until u figure it out.

Thanks for the link, but I finally found a thread on a Jeep forum that matches my problem. It's likely the motor control resistor. You would think a resistor only goes open when defective, but I think it's more like a solid state speed controller. Pretty common actually . Ive had the main control assy do the same thing. just not near as common
