Alright, I've been focusing on life for the last year and a half and have neglected the poor Fury. Had a kid last December, and am currently working on closing on the house we are currently renting. The house has a shop, so I finally have a space to work on the Fury.
I have the spindles and rotors off of my 73 New Yorker parts car. If I remember correctly from researching it, I need to use the lower ball joints off of the Fury onto the New Yorker spindle. I plan on upgrading the master cylinder and booster down the road, but for now, I plan on running the master cylinder and power drum booster. I know that it won't have enough pressure for full on hard stops, but it will still be better than the drums now. Currently, the wheel cylinders are shot, and the pedal goes almost to the floor.
One more question, I noticed yesterday that while pressing the brakes the car did not want to idle in gear. Idles fine in park or neutral. Before the wheel cylinders completely quit, I did not have a problem. Would this have an effect on the idle, or is it just time to do some adjusting on the carb?

Would this have an effect on the idle, or is it just time to do some adjusting on the carb? could need mixture screw adjustment (or internal carb cleaning) or the booster could have a vac leak. put the ebrake on & idling in gear & if it is still idling clean then press the brake pedal & see if the idle acts up.

RapidRobert, that is a great idea and I'll try it out when I get home today. It probably does the mixture adjusted, the exhaust was smelling a little rich, but that problem was new.
Andrewh, thank you. I'll be buying some new flex hoses when I install the disc brakes.
Looking forward to getting the old girl back on the road!

The booster can be bad - could have a large vacuum leak when pressing the brakes. Check the booster.

Well, car still wanted to stall with the parking brake set and in gear, so not the booster. I leaned out the mixture a little bit and brought the idle up some and she idles nicely. I forgot that last year before we moved, I had taken off the Torker that came on the engine and installed the Edelbrock Performer. I would bet money that's why she was off. I still need to get my brother in law to hook up the vacuum gauges and get the carb just right. Thank yall for the help!
