the gasket is someething I had made up. it's 3/8" thick and 3/4" wide. that crap is expensive though

woddy I thought about that, but it's probably cheaper to do it this way. I have some of the chrome but I didn't want to try and piece it together. thanks

got it from a local rubber company, I think it was around $3 a foot I
i'll check the price tomorrow.

They ripped you off. Next time, check mcmaster.com. You can buy a 50 foot roll of that exact size of rubber strip for less than $10.00 plus shipping. That's my tip of the day.




yea it kind of looks that way.I bought it through a friend. we got enough for 3 cars.sounds like I paid for them

Looking good..........I thaught about lexan but then it wouldn`t be a street car anymore......does look nice though.

You can also order not only from McMaster-Carr or Grainger for the rubber but also CIR(California Industrial Rubber)...they have great prices and service....plus they EVEN carry the Polycarbonate sheeting.

www.novuspolish.com I've always bought it directly from them....you'll only need the #2 and #1 unless the cat slides down your windows...LOL......stuff is magic...I've saved many a cloudy lexan window that customers left there car outside for too long. .....it also restores those foggy headlight lens on newer cars...
