https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VgiglXffzNoPublished on Apr 2, 2017 One of the most INSANE drag racing passes we have filmed in the last 17 years. Daniel Pharris driving Andrew Alepa's beautiful Twin Turbo Corvette -vs- Brandon Pesz during the Radial Revenge event at Tulsa Raceway Park. Driver was out and OK but the car took a brutal hit. It looks like it could have been much worse if the front clip had not peeled off mid flight.

I was streaming the race when it happened, slammed down hard. Good to see he was out of the car so fast and there wasn't a fire. I was amazed the door opened so easy after that hard of a hit. to the chassis builder

We discussed Nascar flaps on YB,This is not the total answer but would help Those flaps were a very smart move for NASCAR but only help when going backwards. With a drag cars smooth bottoms I feel this will continue to happen. If they would enforce a mandated front end weigh it would set the class back and I my eyes would be a bad move. It happened and will continue to happened but he his one turned out pretty lucky. Fingers crossed the luck continues

Second bad mishap with that team this year. Big fire in qualifying at Georgia and now this.
John I would bet that car has 60% nose weight, motor, turbos, fuel cell, battery etc are all in the front.

It has a Hemi in it, so it's appropriate.

Depending on what class he is running some classes don't allow wheelie bars.. considering BobR's car is just as fast as either one of those cars... I'm pretty sure he understands the rules

I'm pretty sure he understands the rules No offense to BobR but his car isn't as fast as these cars. The one that blew over has been deep in the 3.70s and was the third fastest radial car in the country this year. Second a set of wheelie bars won't work on a car at the 330' mark going 130+ mph on a radial that is dead hooked. It would either ride up on the wheelie bars or break them at those speeds.
