Is there a complete kit of these parts or do you piece it together with the level of quality that you need for your particular app?

Back in about 07-08 I was finishing up my Magnum 360-380 build and Chrysler had the complete kit, 1.7 roller rockers, springs and retainers, guides, pushrods, studs, might have been a few other things too. On sale for like $275 if I remember right, was over $500. Not sure if still available now. I had ported the heads using the factory templates and cut the guides for the pc seals. Now that I got my Kwic-Way valve grinder I'll remove the heads and do some more work around the valve. Engine is still on the stand waiting for the Duster to be finished. I know, I know, too many projects. Should be a nice little engine making some power, It has the RT cam in it now but I might just use the .501 cam instead. Like I said the Chevy guides will work but need to be narrower, then you need cm pushrods. I might change back to the good bee hive springs also, Pac I think.

There is no such thing as a Chevy guide. Guides are separated by O.D., I.D., and O.A.L.

You can buy a box of 1000 .500 X .340 X 3.125 guides and put them in any head you can ream to .500

You can buy the same guide with a .308 hole or a .375 hole.

Ok. Seems a guide and guide plate are two different things but we abbreviate the [censored] out of everything anymore so I get left in the dust by the txt crowd.

I'm not excited. You said more than once Chevy guides.

Also said "hardened push rods for the guides" don't think anyone puts a push rod in a valve guide.

to the OP- since you already have the crosswind dual bolt intake, I'd recommend the Indy magnum (MA-X) heads with 2.02 valves. $1150 complete with .525 springs. All you would need is stock magnum rocker gear at that .500 lift range- not expensive. Plus, they have dual drilled exhaust bolt holes for W2 headers. My 2 cents....

In reguardless to W2 intake manifold height, I have a Holley Street Dominator & a M1.

............. M1 --- H, St.D
Front .... 4/5-8 .... 4-11/16
Rear ..... 5-11/16 = both intakes

Having issues adding photos with the I-phone.

EV2.. The W2 Street dominator looks like a Edelbrock Performer RPM for a 340, but with W2 oval intake ports. Mine is gasket matched to my Heads. Is is a single plane manifold though.

You may have mis-typed: The W-2 Holley Street Dominator is the same as the Holley Strip Dominator, except it's not "air-gapped" because of the water passage.

Besides custom intakes, I can't think of anyone at the moment who made an aluminum dual plane for W-2s. But Mopar did have a cast iron W-2 dual plane for a short time, probably for certain circle track rules.

aluminum dual plane for W-2

I think I have a new (old) mopar dual w2 intake, let me look.

IIRC it sits very low.

Yes the intake on the top of this pile is a mopar al dual plane single four for the W2....

I cam measure it if im told where to pull from.

I think I have almost every w2 intake made by the major parts guys over the years (ive got like 10 or so) so I can measure about

I seen that intake on the Jegs website. If you get a minute could you measure the height of the carb mounting pad?

These pics will make the w2 guys nt=uts tighten, not aot of these headers left out there. I bought two sets when hooker dumped them all, I think thats how i got them.

They are A body and im not sure I can ever use them, but they look nice.

One day I might build a good W2 motor.
