Yes & they might be NS1. better yet is chebby studs/rockers/rocker balls & maybe drill the stands out to 3/8. I have the part #'s a guy said would be a nice set to go with but I cant find it at the moment. I do have some 5:57's in an A body 8&3/4 (deep enough!) & I have some 6:20's not setup yet, just a R&P.

The W2 Holley Street Dom is very very different than the LA headed Holley Street Dom. Much taller. Much better.
The Strip Dom is taller than the Street Dom.

The W2's are OK OOTB. They are reported to flow 260 cfm's but @ a whopping .600 lift. I do not know how there flow is under the curve. IMO, the EQ'sn or like heads are a better and cheaper deal for the most part.

Spend wisely and once.

Motor is low compression 360 with Hughes whiplash cam and its very competitive when the tracks are less then perfect. I turn the motor 6,000 rpm at most. Thinking a set of EQ's. Any other thoughts? W2 would be nice but we have a intake height rule and I'm not sure budget would allow them anyway.
With those limitations, wanting to use your existing valve train over again, and a tight budget, I would buy a set of LA 915 casting heads from Indy ($500), and port the poop out of them. Still might want to consider going to Magnums though - and porting the poop out of them.

The biggest bang for the buck with an LA head is pocket porting. Inexpensive if you get someone to do it. All the other porting, other than gasket match, better be done with a flow machine.

You also need guides, Chevy will work but a little wide, about the cut off grinding wheel width, then hardened push rods for the guides, they make a 3/8 stud with a 5/16 thread. Had all his sorted out then just bought the factory kit.

I have a gasket matched W2 street dominator for my street 418 car.. real nice manifold, only has water passages at the front of the motor though. About same height to carb flange as the performer rpm Eddy intake.

My petty w2-s show 312@600 with a 2.055 intake.

Whats the street dominator look like? Unless your going for the wow factor a simple single with your non ported heads I think would get you more power in the area you want it for a street thrasher.

That intake bowl is screaming for a 50 degree valve job.

Those pics are from when I got them, now the just have a std. 3 angle job.

I found those heads, well the whole motor apart on CL out of FL and got it all for $1100 plus the freight.... A decent score.

That's better than a decent score.

Is there a complete kit of these parts or do you piece it together with the level of quality that you need for your particular app?

If you notice the intake runners sit above
the valve cover rail.. on a lot of the W-2
intakes you have to cut that lip down on
the intake.. if you dont you will see that
the valve cover will sit on that and not
seal on the valve cover gasket... I forgot
to mill mine down on my 416 W-2.. at first
I thought it was leaking at the rear some
where... was the valve cover not sitting
down.. just looking at it I figured it was
just clearing but it wasnt when I torqued
down the cover
EDIT
This mainly occurs when you cut the block, and
heads which brings the rail in closer to the
center line of the engine

I had the very same issue when I put the current intake on the motor. Doesn't take long to make a nice mess.

You got that right.. I had a slight seep/leak
that ran down to the back then down the side
of the bell housing area.. I noticed a small
puddle on the edge of the intake and figured
it out... and I use the reverse lip valve covers

I use these on my w2 and indy headed motors since it always seems to be a issue with non oem stuff.

I used my band saw to cut off the top lip but the thick hard felpro trimmed gasket seals perfect because all butts together and fits well.
