Anyone know if there are any clearance issues with the repro 440 Max Wedge intakes and the tall Mopar Performance cast valve covers?

I know if you radius the bottom of the carb mounting bases (1/2" radius below the outer carb stud) that the cast Indy covers will come off with a stock Max Wedge intake.

Which Mopar brand valve covers, the chrome steel or the cast aluminum ones shruggy The chrome steel work fine up Maybe the cast aluminum ones also, I can't remember if I ever used them on any of my stock M.W. cross ram motors now confused

Yes there is a problem. You'll have to grind or machine the bottom the intake a little bit. Look at the Max Wedge article in the tech archives, I think I had a picture in there that shows the issue.
