RAII4-speed OP enthusiast R Joined: Apr 2016 Posts: 222 Massachusetts	I am looking at a car that is a 1970 340 with a build date of 11/18/69 and a production date of 3/03/70 car was built in Hamtrack. Does this seem correct?

If so My both Cudas have a SPD of 4/18/70 , but the 340 engine assy dates are late January 1970 for both cars. Was not always 1st in 1st out. The actual final assembly date is part of the engine serial number (not to be confused with the VIN) on the front of the block below the drivers side head surface. The date there is in the 10,000 day calendar format.

This is the stamping we need. *If you are still considering the purchase of this car (per our detailed phone conversation) you really should hire someone to do a 3rd party pre purchase inspection. .02
