416 rpm's may hit a lil in the 8000. Which is the better rod ? I'm sorry I meant to ask between Manley or Scat rods

I bought 4 sets of Eagle H-beams about a year
after they came out... all my engines run 8000+
rpm.. been in there for 5 years or better... about
250 passes a year(varies some)... still holding
strong.. but I dont know the quality now days... 3
sets were chevy.. 1 was mopar
EDIT
I should have said all my race engines.. I only
turn my 416 to 7200 right now

I don't see a W5 head supporting 8000 rpm..... feel free to prove me wrong.

I went with Molnar on my W8 deal..... I just knew you had been working on a W5 project and it seems the rpm deal is a bit high. Like I said... maybe I don't know what the H I'm talking about. We only pushed about 6800rpm on our W5 deal.

13.5 to 1 compression. 340 filled block, 4" stroke. Cam was a comp .658 lift, duration at .050 = 275I 282E. Heads were cnc ported with that group buy that was here through SDSS. Gave us a best of 9.87 @ 137. Car wasn't legal so my dad was shifting at 6200 and running 10ohs. We turned it up a couple of times and pull it would!

it was a cool bare bones combo.... built of obsolete hard to find parts unfortunately... we ran Eagle rods and crank. But after repeated bouts with water entering the #3 intake port... which finally resulted in a rod failure, we abandoned the project.
