696pack OP mopar 6 Joined: Jun 2011 Posts: 511 AZ.	I have a 1966 Charger with a 1970 Pistol Grip handle. I need a new shifter mechanism and linkage. I don't see anything listed on Hurst's website for a Console 1970 Super Bee, only non-console. Does it really make a difference for the shifter mechanism and the linkage? Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.

Not a week goes by that I don't hear about someone passing on.Let's get out there,smoke some tires,have a beer with a good friend,do what you have always wanted to do.I am pretty sure no one will ever say on their deathbed "gee I'm glad my life was calm and boring"

It was stamped 7174 on the side of one of the shifter lever fingers. Both console and non console mechanisms were the same. The long finger was made slightly longer so your hand would not slam into the dash during the 2-3 shift, they "sort of" worked.
