I'm sold on Centerforce. If light pedal pressure is at all a selling feature for you. Look no further.
Holding back power does not mean your pedal needs to be hard to push.
I'm tired of worn linkages, bending Z bars and flexing the firewall just because the last clutch was slipping. Not to mention the leg and knee of us older drivers.

I run an E-body with a Center Force. It's the best clutch I've ever owned. No chatter, slip, pedal pressure is great. It's my wife's car. Small block 12.50@110Doug

When I got my CF it was a kit.Clutch PP and TOB.The car sat for a while after install and the TB made noise. Then my buddy at the parts store found a new Timken TB for me that sat on the shelf for like 8 years. No problems at all.Rocky

I know a few guys in the auto parts business what flywheel and spline do you have? Most stock type clutch kit companies don't offer an 18 spline unit. Gus

Its a 23 spline....planning to buy the 11" jegs flywheel for $100 and a used scattershield (seems as cheap as a used bell and bottom cover).
Its going into a true daily driver with a real mild rebuilt 440. So pedal pressure needs to be where my 16 year old son and wife can drive it and not hate it. It will have a hydraulic master/slave if it matters.

If you run a hydro clutch you can run any PP setup. The hydro takes all the pressure. Its not like a mechanical linkage. The CF with mechanical link is an easy setup.Pretty much no pressure.I dont know how I could trust a 100 buck flywheel.Id have more faith in a stock wheel thats in good shape. The shield is a good idea. You know you can run a 10 1/2 clutch with a shield.Just need to move the starter in on the shield.Rocky

Yeah, Luk is actually about 5 minutes from me. I don't know of any store per se that carries them. Typically you have to know someone who works there.
Like I said, a neighbor and good friend of mine is an R&D guy there. He's offered several times to "hook me up" when I need a new package.
