70 Superbee with the ramcharger hood and a warmed over 440. Would like to keep as much performance as possible along with the fresh air box for wow factor. Can anyone tell me if there are any aftermarket intakes that will work well and fit under it or am I stuck with the factory iron? Thanks in advance!

yeah... a six pack! ok ok, many intakes fit. CH4B looks almost stock and performs well with mild 440 applications. I think a Holley SD will also fit.

I think MOST, any dual plane should work,
I think some single planes could be problematic...

Been without a computer for a while so just now following up...
I've used the street dominator in the past and would like to use it on this car, but would like to know if it will work. Anyone actually using it for this type car/hood setup or does anyone have a height measurement vs. stock by chance?
Thanks again for your help!!

I've actually used the holley STreet dominator on several applications, dual plane (I REALLY like that intake btw), and its dropped right on, in the original stock location with only a SLIGHT increase in height.
I THINK it should work for your needs

SD is 1" taller than stock.

You can always use a drop base if you have clearance issues.

Here is a list of intakes I know of that will clear the air box AND the hood on a 440 installed in a 70 B body ...

Stock Iron intake

ORIGINAL and DISCONTINUED M1 Dual plane ... current M1 Dual plane is a rebadged Ebrock RPM

Original style 6 pk intake

POSSIBLY the Ebrock performer 400 , NOT the RPM

and I'm sure there is an old offy with not much better than stock performance they MAY fit ...

ANYTHING else is going to require the air cleaner base to be modified .... A CH4B will have the air cleaner top hit the hood ...

Would love to be able to use the Street Dominator with the Ramcharger air cleaner setup, but I'm doubting there's an extra inch of clearance in the stock setup. Will research further...Thanks for the responses everyone, that helps a lot!

You can use it but you'll have to turn it into a drop base, Contact Steve /Paint_it_black , he makes the base out of fiberglass

There's one on EBag right now, (not mine)
$60 starting bid, I think 1 person has bid on it

As I was reading and scrolling down, I'm thinking; John knows so hopefully he'll chime in.

Wow factor, performance and ability to use a Ramcharger air box all point to the 6 pack manifold....

the M 1 is your best choice for a 4bbl, and the offy sucks (or doesn't...you know what I mean!)
