My oil pan is dented up and I'm going to replace it, just wondering any tips or tricks about replacing it in car if it can be done. superwrench master Joined: Oct 2003 Posts: 2,537 PORT ALBERNI , BC., CANADA	I've replaced my pan in my '71 Challenger and it's a deep race pan on a big block. I had to drop the center link on the steering and I think I took out the motor mount bolts and raised the engine off the pads about 1 1/2". Just sat the mounts on some wooden blocks. If your's is a small block, I wouldn't see any other obstacles.

Thanks No problems at all if it is a stock pan, drop the center link as already suggested You will probally need a 1/2 inch box end wrench to remove the front four bolts BTW, is it a BB or SB motor Mr.Cab Racing and winning with Mopars since 1964. (Old F--t, Huh)
