sharpie OP Moparts Linguist Joined: Sep 2007 Posts: 5,037 hi	I've heard the Air Grabber/Ramcharger air cleaners would work, but what parts would I need to have an oval air cleaner (like that of a six-pack or a Coyote Duster) over a single, say, Speed Demon or Edelbrock 4-bbl? Thanks.

I never actually had a chance to test fit it since the car had no engine when I owned the air cleaner. No way in hell was I going to slice up a 1969 440 air grabber cleaner so I sold it and went with a round 1970 340 one instead.

Tom There is a shorter element from K+N as well. There is a member(torred4speed?) here who sells a fiberglass repro base here, it allows you to adjust the height by cutting the neck down to shorten it. There was a pic somewhere on here , thread about putting an air grabber setup in an A body that Scott Smith posted , the wiper motor on an A body sticks off to the side some so it's not as obtrusive as it is on a B body .
