One tire took 1/2 oz total to balance. The other tire takes 3.5 oz in one area. Pulled tire off and checked the wheel balance and it is perfect. Checked this on 2 spin machines and even stuck it on my old bubble balancer. Tire runout is fine. Has a high speed shake like an out of balance tire. It spins up 0 with 3.5 oz of weight on it but its a big hunk of lead in one spot. No warranty because they have a couple years on them building the car. Should I make a tire swing out of it?

He said they spun up just the wheel alone and it
was fine so its in the tire... he also rotated it
a 1/2 turn on the wheel(which wouldnt have made a
difference since the wheel was true)

Flip the tire over.Had some at work that took lots of weight.Sometimes flipping them over will work.Same with rotating them Ive had to rotate some 3 or 4 times.Sometime you just get a tire that takes weight.Rocky

I think it is MT for some reason. I just bought 4 of their tires for my street rod and they took a ton of weight on new rims.

I went ahead and ordered another tire. 3.5 oz on such a small tire on a 3.5 rim was a big chunk of lead.
