As for the car in Quebec, we might have worked on it but generally the only thing we did for customers at the time was build engines, transmissions, move rear springs inboard. Doesn't sound familiar but was too busy having fun working on this stuff, meeting some neat people, etc., etc. It was always fun "testing" vehicles on 6 Mile Road in front of the shop. Got to the point that we had to call the local police precinct and a car would slide by so we could make a pass. Most of the local cops dug the race car stuff. Actually had a few of them for customers. It's amazing how time flies.
